10 Saboteurs For Your New Year

As we move into the new year and begin to look forward to what can be accomplished, its handy to know before you encounter the challenges ahead, what the 10 most prolific self-sabotage strategies are that people will not even know they’re employing in their goal achievement. These can range from being mildly distracting and delaying the completion of your goals, to being fatal and completely destroying your hope and encouragement for what you aspired to work for.

Overarching all of these 10 goal achievement saboteurs is what I call the ‘patron of failure’ – and no its not fear, although it does require fear to be present. Public Hearing Over Mount Owen Complex

A public hearing will be held by the NSW Planning Assessment Commission on Tuesday over the expansion of a large mining complex in Upper Hunter Valley.

Located outside Singleton, Glencore’s Mount Owen mining complex, which comprises of Mount Owen, Ravensworth East and Glendell open cut mines, has applied to expand existing operations until 2030 to recover an additional 90 million tonnes of coal and consolidate operations across the site.  Continue reading

Anglo American Restructures And Cuts 85000 Jobs

Anglo American has told investors it plans to cut 85,000 jobs globally as it merges six divisions into three businesses in a bid to restructure its operations and plans to sell more mines.

The major miner has four coal mines up for sale, three in central Queensland — Dawson, Foxleigh and Callide — and Dartbrook in the Hunter Valley, which is currently under care and maintenance.  Continue reading
