A WA resources company has resurrected plans for an iron ore mine in the Kimberley following robust results from a feasibility study.  Mount Gibson Iron will now redevelop its Koolan Island project after putting the development on ice in late 2014 after a section of its seawall failed. The feasibility study found if Mount Gibson fixed the seawall it could safely extract 12.8 Mt grading 66.0% Fe1 with a very low level of impurities over a 3.5 year period.
