Adani has recently announced plans to begin building a $200m solar farm mid-2017, to provide power back into the grid near Moranbah in Queensland.
Adani has a legacy and proven experience of building extensive solar farms in India, and plans to bring this experience, with the requirement of suitable trades professionals to build this project on Queensland soil.
Adani has recently advertised for a Reliability Engineer at the Abbot Point Coal Terminal, whose job is to basically ensure all parts of the terminal received the correct levels of electricity. Building this project ensures Adani’s investment into the safe operation of the terminal is further strengthened.
While it is likely to employ only about four to five people once it is operational, about 350 people will be required during its year-long construction.
The bulk of jobs with the company will be advertised directly through Adani after the location for the regional headquarters has been determined in the near future.
These jobs are likely to be in trades, as well as those with solar speciality.
